From Rescue to Rehabilitation — Our Journey of Love
At Jeev Aashraya, we believe that every life — no matter how small, abandoned — deserves love, dignity, and care. Founded in 2011 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, our journey began with a simple dream: to rescue the helpless, heal the suffering, and give hope to those who cannot speak for themselves.
For over a decade, we have been on the streets, in shelters, and by the side of the wounded — pulling animals out of pain and giving them back their right to live. From treating the injured to providing lifelong sanctuary, from spreading awareness to fighting against cruelty, every step we take is fueled by compassion.
With over 144,000+ rescues and rehabilitations, we stand as one of the largest animal welfare organizations in Uttar Pradesh. But beyond the numbers, it’s the countless wagging tails, gentle eyes, and healed souls that remind us why this mission matters.
We are committed to tirelessly working to protect and improve the lives of animals in every way possible.
Jeev Aashraya has been providing a dedicated animal rescue and rehabilitation helpline service across the city, supported by the community since its start.
Anyone can reach out if they spot an animal in distress.
Through this helpline, we assist animals injured in accidents and offer timely veterinary care to the injured, ensuring their recovery within a set timeframe.
